Pokémon 30th Celebration English Products: Every Collection, Pack Count and Release Date

The Pokémon TCG turns 30 in 2026, and the English 30th Celebration set is unusual: there is no booster display and no loose packs. Every pack comes inside a collection product, and those products are spread over several release dates between September and December 2026.

This guide lists every English 30th Celebration product, how many packs each one contains and what else is in the box, so you can decide which one is worth it, whether you want to open packs, collect the set or put a sealed piece on the shelf.

30th Celebration at a glance

English release16 September 2026 (more products through December)
Cards128 main-set cards, plus a 30-card Classic Collection and secret rares
Booster pack5 foil cards plus a foil Basic Energy. Every card is foil.
PikachuOne of the five foils in every pack is one of 30 different Pikachu illustrations
English booster displayNone. Packs only come in collection products.
Japanese counterpart30th CELEBRATION (M6a), sold as a sealed display

Because the packs are small and every card is foil, 30th Celebration opens very differently from a normal 10-card set. Expect fewer cards per pack, but a foil in every slot.

Ultra-Premium Collection: Day (Espeon) and Night (Umbreon)

The Ultra-Premium Collections are the headline products of the anniversary. The Day version pairs Pikachu ex with Espeon ex, the Night version pairs Pikachu ex with Umbreon ex. Each box contains 29 booster packs of 30th Celebration and one Classic Collection booster pack with three cards from the set’s Classic Collection, plus a playmat, card sleeves, a deck box and other accessories.

That makes the UPC the biggest single source of 30th Celebration packs in English, and the only English product with a dedicated Classic Collection pack. It is also the product most collectors want to keep sealed. Espeon and Umbreon have long been two of the most popular Pokémon among collectors, and in pre-release market listings the Night version has consistently traded higher than the Day version.

We have both versions on pre-order: the Espeon (Day) Ultra-Premium Collection, the Umbreon (Night) Ultra-Premium Collection and a Day & Night set with both boxes.

Ditto Premium Collection: 8 packs and an acrylic display

The Ditto Premium Collection is the mid-size option. It contains eight booster packs, a Ditto promo card and a colourful acrylic display that you can use for the Ditto promo or your best pull. If you want a meaningful number of packs without paying UPC prices, this is the product to look at. See the Ditto Premium Collection pre-order.

Figure Collections: Mew and Mewtwo

The Figure Collections each include a sculpted figure (Mew by Taro Murai, Mewtwo by Daichi F Sugimoto, both produced by Kaiyodo), a foil promo, an oversize card and five booster packs. They are the best-looking display pieces in the line-up and a popular gift. Available as the Mew Figure Collection and the Mewtwo Figure Collection.

Elite Trainer Boxes

The regular 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box has nine packs, a full-art Nidorina promo, 65 sleeves, 16 foil Basic Energy cards, dice, a coin and a storage box. The Pokémon Center version raises that to 11 packs and adds a second, Pokémon Center-stamped Nidorina promo. For players who want accessories with their packs, the ETB is the most practical option.

Smaller products

The Booster Bundle (6 packs), Binder Collection (5 packs plus a 9-pocket binder), the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex boxes (4 packs), the Poster and Tech Sticker Collections (3 packs) and the Knock Out Collection and Mini Tins (2 packs each) are cheaper ways into the set. They are fine for opening a few packs or for completing a promo collection, but they are not where you will find the best price per pack.

The Battle Decks contain no booster packs at all. They are ready-to-play, all-foil 60-card decks led by Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, each with an illustration rare-style promo (Victini or Zeraora), a deck box, coin and playmat.

Which 30th Celebration product should you buy?

  • Most packs and the Classic Collection: the Ultra-Premium Collection (Day or Night).
  • Best mid-size option: the Ditto Premium Collection with 8 packs.
  • Something to display: a Mew or Mewtwo Figure Collection.
  • Packs plus play accessories: the Elite Trainer Box, or the Pokémon Center ETB if you can get one.
  • A full sealed display: the Japanese 30th Celebration M6a display, because there is no English one. Our M6a vs Ultra-Premium Collection guide compares the two.
