Pokémon TCG and Riftbound Release Calendar: Late 2026 into 2027

Every sealed buyer plans around the same two questions: what is coming, and when does it land in Europe. This is the confirmed calendar for the rest of 2026 and the first half of 2027 — English Pokémon, Japanese Pokémon and Riftbound in one place. Dates below are the official publisher dates; stock in the EU usually follows within a few days of the global street date.

Last checked 14 October 2026.

English Pokémon TCG: October to December 2026

The Mega Evolution block continues with its sixth set, and the 30th anniversary line runs alongside it through December.

Delta Reign carries the internal code ME06 and runs to over 135 cards, headlined by Mega Rayquaza ex. We broke the full product list down separately in our Delta Reign product guide.

Nothing has an official English date in 2027 yet. The Mega Evolution sets have been spaced roughly eight weeks apart, which would put the next main set in late January — but treat that as a pattern, not an announcement.

Japanese Pokémon TCG: the second half of 2026

Japanese sets run on their own schedule and usually arrive a few months ahead of the English equivalent, which is why import buyers see cards long before they appear in English. If you are new to the Japanese side, start with English vs Japanese Pokémon cards.

DateSetDetails
31 Jul 2026Storm Emeralda (M6)Main expansion, 200 yen per pack, roughly 6,000 yen per box — already released
16 Sep 202630th CELEBRATION (M6a)Anniversary set, 6 all-foil cards per pack at 360 yen, 20-pack box at 7,200 yen — already released
27 Nov 2026Hadou Seeker (M7), announced in English as Aura SeekerMain expansion — announced, final details still to be confirmed

Two further Japanese names have surfaced as trademarks only, MEGA×MEGA Parade and a suspected Team Rocket set. There is no date for either, so anyone quoting one is guessing. Our Japanese stock sits under Japanese Pokémon TCG, and how our imports work explains the sourcing side.

Riftbound: Radiance now, and a full 2027 roadmap

Riot has published Riftbound dates further ahead than Pokémon does, which makes planning easier. Set 4 Vendetta landed on 31 July 2026; Set 5 Radiance is next.

What the calendar means in practice

Prerelease windows are not the release

A Build & Battle Box in a prerelease window is a limited in-store product. General sealed stock — boxes, bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes — appears on the street date, which for Delta Reign is 6 November.

Sealed prices usually dip after launch, not before

Across recent sets the pattern has been the same: preorder prices sit high while allocation is unclear, the first few weeks after release are the cheapest window as stock floods in, and prices only climb again once distribution dries up months later. If you are buying to open, waiting a few weeks after a street date has historically cost less. If you are buying to hold, the thing that matters is whether the product gets reprinted, not the launch-week price.

Anniversary and collection products behave differently

Ultra-Premium Collections, Binder Collections and figure sets are print-limited in a way booster boxes are not, and they are the products most likely to be gone rather than discounted. The 30th anniversary line through November and December falls into that group.

Japanese releases reach the EU later than the Japanese street date

A 27 November Japanese date means the set is on shelves in Japan that day. Import stock in Europe depends on freight, so plan on a gap rather than same-day availability. Our EU shipping page covers dispatch from Germany.

Frequently asked questions

Delta Reign (ME06) releases on 6 November 2026, with prerelease Build & Battle Boxes in stores from 24 October to 1 November. It is the sixth English Mega Evolution set and contains over 135 cards.
None yet. As of 14 October 2026 The Pokémon Company has not announced an English set with a 2027 date. Based on the eight-week spacing of the Mega Evolution block, a late-January set would fit the pattern, but no date is official.
Hadou Seeker (M7), announced in English as Aura Seeker, is reported for 27 November 2026. Storm Emeralda (31 July) and 30th CELEBRATION (16 September) are already out.
Set 5: Radiance releases on 23 October 2026, with a Pre-Rift window from 16 to 22 October. Products are booster packs and displays, the Seraphine vs Evelynn Showdown Decks, and a Vault Bundle.
Riot has published dates to April 2027: Legacy on 29 January 2027, Proving Grounds 2nd Edition on 19 February 2027 and The Reckoning on 30 April 2027, with two further sets placed in Q3 and Q4 2027 without names or dates.
It depends what you want the product for. To open, waiting a few weeks after a street date has usually been cheaper, because supply peaks shortly after release. To keep sealed long term, print-limited anniversary and collection products are the ones that disappear rather than discount; standard booster boxes are rarely scarce at launch.

We keep this page updated as publishers confirm dates. More background reading sits in our guides, including which sealed format to buy and sleeves and storage.
